The Small Print

*Sales tax = 6.5%
*Orders shipped Fed Ex Ground unless specified otherwise.
*If your intended purpose is to make reproductions of the gift caricature(s) you purchase for commercial use (i.e.   advertising), a copyright release fee of 30% will be added to the final amount.
*Prop requests which require research or more than average time to illustrate could add an additional cost   depending  on the nature of the request.
*Caricatures are on 11" x 14" paper.

An Inside Look

Often while drawing at festivals, Sean is asked whether he does caricatures from photos, either for gift-giving purposes or because a loved one is not present. In response to this need, Sean has tailored the gift caricature option as one similar in method as a caricature purchased at a festival but with more time spent and more detail added to the caricature.

Method: caricatures are done on 11" x 14" paper using Prismacolor colored pencil sticks and copic markers.

Procedure: Once you have checked Sean's availability to draw your gift caricature using the "contact" link located at the top of page, a questionnaire regarding your needs can be filled out using the "gift form" link also located at the top of page. Upon receiving this information, Sean will send a quote via email. If you express a desire to proceed, your caricature will be scheduled. An invoice will be sent requesting full payment before finished caricature can be released. Caricatures drawn for businesses can be released with a deposit of half. Invoice for remaining balance of business orders will be sent with completed caricature.

One sketch is counted in the cost of caricature. Sketch will be sent via e-mail. Any revisions of initial sketch could be an additional $10-$40, depending upon changes desired. (Unusually time-consuming gift caricature orders, such as a sketch of 10 people or a sketch with unusual complexity, may require a deposit before the sketch is released.)

Once we are certain that you love the sketch, color will be added, if requested. Gift caricature orders are then shipped in a bag within a tube. (Colors do not smear.) Fed Ex Ground is used as primary carrier unless specified otherwise by customer. An e-mail will also be sent with the Fed Ex tracking number.

Payment Methods: Payment can be made by check, cash, credit card, or PayPal. At the moment, credit card payments are only accepted over the phone. We accept Discover, Visa, and Mastercard. If Paypal is desired, an invoice will be sent through Paypal via e-mail. Payments can be made by credit card through the Paypal website.

Overseas Orders: Overseas orders can be received using the online open source (free) sofware Dropbox which would allow you to download a 300 dpi file of your caricature (higher dpi option available for larger formats than 11" x 14"). Caricatures can also be received as e-mail attachments set at 150 dpi, 11" x 14" format. Paypal is the only payment option available for overseas orders at this time.
