Visual Communication has moved more and more into the digital age. Sean Platt can offer digital illustrations (clip art) that are custom to your needs. Great for logo design, signage, website or publication clip art, and menu design.
There are basically two camps of digital graphics: Vector Art and Rasterized Art.
Vector Art: Created with points and paths. Most clip art is vector art. Advantage? Vector art can be reduced and enlarged without losing visual quality. Great for multiple purposes where there is the possibility of reproducing at different sizes. Disadvantage? More time to produce than rasterized art.
Rasterized Art: Created with pixels. Advantage? More possibilities for realism. Generally quicker to produce. Disavantage? Rasterized art will lose visual quality if size of graphic changes greatly, such as going from an 8.5" x 11" document to a large sign.
